Downloading files - username and password.

When you click on a link below you may be asked for a username and password. The username is your student number prefixed with the letter 'z'. The password is your z-Pass. If your username and/or password is rejected (the password box comes back again) make sure that you have completed the form to accept the terms and conditions for using the UNSW computer network. If you have done this and the problem persists, contact the IT Service Desk to verify your unipass. Some files may also require a password to open the file - your lecturer will tell you if this is the case.

Viewing and printing PDF files.

To view PDF files you must have the Acrobat Reader program (v3 or higher) and, optionally, the Acrobat web browser plugin. These are available for free from the Adobe web site. A convenient way to print a PDF file containing overhead transparencies is to choose a multi-page layout (e.g., 4 transparencies to a printed page) in the printer options. Most current PostScript™ printer drivers offer this.
