New Premises for Chemistry

Construction of the new building to house (amongst other facilities) the research and teaching laboratories for the School of Chemistry was completed in October 2006. The pictures below show the progress of the construction over more than a year.

27 and 28 August 2005 - A large crane arrives to assemble an even larger crane.

September 2005 - The hole is complete. October 2005 - The start of the new building.
