The Analytical Chemistry Group organises lectures, seminars
and
conferences
designed to keep members up-to-date with new technology for analysis
and
in touch with industry and academic developments. Review lectures
concerning
major instrumentation (ICP, GC, MS, IC etc) are held regularly, with
local
and overseas speakers sharing their experiences. Topics such as
laboratory
safety, laboratory management and waste disposal are also dealt with.
Specialist
meetings such as the Conference of Residue Chemists and the National
Analytical
Conference bring academics and industrial analysts from all over
Australia.
This is the Group to join if you work in chemical analysis. It will make a significant contribution to your professional development.
